As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our apartment building. Your responsibilities will include:

General Maintenance:
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks for both individual apartments and common areas within the complex.
- Address issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related queries and complaints from tenants.

Specific Duties:
- Plumbing: Repair and unclog toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains.
- Flooring: Replace carpets and wooden floors as needed.
- Electrical: Install and repair wires, plugs, and switches.
- Painting: Maintain communal areas and exterior walls by painting.
- Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in shared spaces.
- Safety Measures: Ensure fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exits are in excellent working condition.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies to ensure availability.
- Tenant Assistance: Unlock apartments when tenants lose or forget their keys.
- Special Repairs: Schedule repairs that require specialized technical skills.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an apartment maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
- Dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work on-call after hours and weekends when needed
