Job Summary: Alsym Energy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lab Manager to join our team. The ideal Lab Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the lab runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while supporting research, experimentation, prototyping, and quality control efforts. This role involves managing equipment, maintaining supplies, supervising lab personnel, and implementing protocols that comply with health and safety standards.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering discipline such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a research laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with organic and inorganic chemicals, materials safety, solvent handling, waste management, and documentation.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety regulations, SOPs, and quality assurance protocols.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise lab operations, ensuring that laboratory processes run smoothly.
- Enforce laboratory health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Oversee procurement, inventory, and the maintenance of lab supplies and equipment; ensure all consumables are adequately stocked.
- Manage the calibration, maintenance, and repair of laboratory equipment, liaising with service providers as needed.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring quality control of experiments, data, and equipment.
- Provide technical support to researchers, assisting in the planning, execution, and documentation of experiments when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to laboratory activities and experiments.
