CDW is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team, focusing on low voltage systems including LAN, WLAN, VOIP/PA, surveillance systems, and intrusion systems. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience, a strong educational background, and a commitment to ensuring project success through effective coordination and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Task Management: Track and complete various project-related tasks, including change orders, Requests for Change (RFCs), and documentation, ensuring timely completion.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, team members, and management, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Scheduling: Work closely with the project manager to maintain project schedules, ensuring that deadlines and milestones are met.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact the success of the project.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve project issues and challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reporting: Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Administrative and Project Support: Conduct site visits for job walks, inventories, and job start meetings. Provide administrative support to the project manager, including scheduling meetings, managing project files, procuring equipment, liaising with various departments, reviewing estimates/proposals, and processing invoices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Project Coordinator, specifically with low voltage systems (LAN, WLAN, VOIP/PA, surveillance systems, and intrusion systems).
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university, or equivalent relevant experience on a year-to-year basis in lieu of a degree.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
