As a Financial Analyst at Good Ranchers, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of new initiatives, identify cost-saving opportunities, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) that track progress toward strategic goals. Your experience will be key in developing sharp, data-driven insights to feed into the management and decision-making processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of product lines and business units.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives or changes to existing operations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure profitability and track progress towards goals.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of financial data and trends.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic plans to improve profitability.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Develop Financial Models Supporting Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Forecasts
- Benchmarking and Process Analysis
- Evaluate Investment Options and Calculate Investment Returns
- Prepare Management/Investor/Board Materials as Needed
- Other Ad Hoc Analyses as Needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA desirable
- Direct to Consumer, ECommerce, Food & Beverage industry experience desirable
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, databases, financial software).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
