BCI has the following 1 year assignment open with our direct client in Jersey City, NJ. The ETL developer will have at least 6 years of hands-on professional exp. PDI (Pentaho Data Integration) is a MUST. This role is open for W2 or 1099. No Corp to Corp or subcontractors. Hybrid/remote with 1 day a week on site is preferred. If you are 100% remote, you must have a very strong background to be considered.
You will be responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Working closely with other developers, designers, business and systems analysts
• Develop applications.
• Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for web applications and web sites.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes.
• Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction.
• Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
• Testing and evaluating new programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Determining operational practicality
• Developing quality assurance procedures
• Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
Qualifications:
• Technical Degree or related discipline
• ETL PDI (Pentaho Data Integration) developer with minimum of 6 years experience. A MUST!
• Experience in designing and building applications in various languages.
• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
