Global X Management Company LLC (“Global X”) is seeking a highly motivated 1940 Act Paralegal to assist with all legal and regulatory matters related to the management of its various new and ongoing asset management initiatives. The Paralegal supports the growth of all business lines, including Product Research & Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Portfolio Strategy, and International Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing SEC regulatory filings (including, but not limited to, annual registration statement updates and supplements) and other regulatory and state filings
- Manage EDGAR filing process
- Organize and maintain agreement records (including originals, amendments and restatement)
- Prepare and obtain signatures for filings and agreements
- Proofread various documents
- Assist with preparation of Board materials, including memos, agendas, resolutions and minutes
- Maintain project timelines and project plans, organize materials and assist with tracking project plans
- Assist with recordkeeping and other administrative-related projects
- Develop and maintain calendars and status lists to assist in workflow management for Legal team and ensure adherence to project timelines and regulatory deadlines
Desired Skills and Experience
- College degree;
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience as a paralegal supporting exchange traded funds, open-end mutual funds and/or closed-end funds at a law firm or in-house legal department;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Strong ability to communicate (in oral and written form) at all levels internally and externally;
- Ability to prioritize and focus on critical tasks that add value;
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities to meet moving and demanding deadlines;
- Ability to follow up and follow through on tasks and project deadlines; and
- Ability to be a self-starter and a team player who can act as a liaison for internal and external parties

The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. The total compensation package for this position may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
