Our client, a luxury textile manufacturing company, is looking for a professional and dependable Product Development Coordinator to join their Los Angeles team!
Responsibilities:
- Acts as liaison between Design and Production teams.
- Managing project calendars and timelines to ensure deadlines are met and reports issued at weekly meetings.
- Responsible for overall project execution after Design approval.
- Creating and maintaining tech packs with the Design team.
- Analyzing sample costing versus initial costs and tech pack details.
- Reviewing first samples with Design and Production teams for quality.
- Resolving issues during the product lifecycle.
- Analyzing fabric and trim requirements, advising management on POs.
- Costs final product designs for private label or wholesale customers.
- Collaborating with Design team on production specifications.
- Maintaining supplier relationships / negotiating terms and pricing.
- Assisting with researching market trends and additional projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; 3-5 years in apparel manufacturing or product development.
- Proficient in Excel, Illustrator and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong project management / communication skills.
- ERP / inventory management experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and possesses excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communicator with negotiating skills.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and able to prioritize and adapt.
- This is an on-site role. Candidates should be based in the greater Los Angeles area to be considered.
