Simply Bread is looking for an ambitious and flexible Digital Marketing Specialist. This is an incredibly important role on a small marketing team at a growing startup, so the ideal candidate should feel comfortable handling a variety of marketing tasks and switching gears often. The ideal candidate for this position is a jack/jill-of-all-trades when it comes to marketing, and eager to learn and grow. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this position has a well-honed strategic mindset, and is capable of doing detailed reporting to tie marketing activity to revenue growth.
You should feel excited to move fast, try new techniques, and have a strong analytical mind to evaluate and improve the performance of our marketing assets. Being a part of a small team, you should also feel comfortable handling minor tasks that fall outside of your job description on occasion.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing paid outbound marketing campaigns, including PPC advertising, retargeting, and sponsored content placement.
- Conduct detailed reporting of outbound marketing campaigns, and utilize informed analysis to improve future campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute various forms of marketing collateral, including but not limited to landing pages, email campaigns, video (educational & marketing-related), social posts, event collateral.
- Collaborate with independent contractors to plan and execute marketing assets that fall outside of your design and production capabilities.
- Coordinate the development, design, and publication of social media content.
- Manage social media community engagement, and ensure that inquiries directed at the company are handled appropriately.
- Track and analyze influencer marketing efforts, and maintain relationships with influencers and affiliates within the industry.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events and webinars.
- Complete weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- BA/BS required
- Minimum of 4-6 years experience in related marketing role(s).
- Familiarity with Paid Media platforms and marketing analytics tools.
- Experience planning and executing outbound marketing campaigns with paid marketing elements.
- Experience with detailed marketing analytics, and paid campaign performance analytics.
- Strong, concise copywriting skills with a focus on driving action.
- Experience working in relevant design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro. Candidate does not need to be an expert in these tools, but should feel comfortable enough to make basic pieces of collateral and collaborate with graphic designers and/or video editors.
- Experience working in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and KPIs.
- Passion for Digital Marketing with strong Analytical skills and a desire to always seek out “the why” using data.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
