LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Paralegal with a focus on transactional areas of law. The ideal candidate will have expertise in corporate law and/or real estate law. Additionally, candidates who prefer a smaller law firm are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is fully on-site in Fort Lauderdale and direct hire.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide guidance on real estate matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, contracts, and other transactional documents
- Provide guidance on property development, financing, leasing, and zoning matters
- Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions to facilitate smooth and efficient closings
- Assist in resolving any legal disputes or issues that may arise during the transaction process
- Stay updated on current real estate laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Advise clients regarding entity formation, acquisitions, and corporate compliance
- Assist with corporate and business law matters, including contract drafting, review, and negotiations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal with a focus on transactional areas of law
- Strong knowledge of real estate and corporate laws, regulations, and legal principles
- Experience in drafting and negotiating real estate contracts and transactional documents
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in estate and trust and/or probate related legal work is a PLUS
- Familiarity with Florida-specific real estate laws and regulations
- Paralegal Certificate
Salary range is up to $120K DOE
