Responsibilities:
Essential Responsibilities
- Construction liaison between design engineering and construction during the erection of Water Treatment Plants.
- Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer's sites
- Manage activities of outside vendors and suppliers, assuring services and supplies met project specifications and performance requirements.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and log sheets to document and monitor equipment
- Perform quality inspections of electromechanical equipment/rotating equipment with Clients and client-designated representatives
- Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within client safety standards
- Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages
- Figure out alignment issues and plumb adjustment figures. Plane Geometry, chemistry formulas.
- Lead and/or assist customers with Electrical and/or Instrumentation requirements (space, labor requirements, tools, disposal of test water, etc..) to support commissioning activities, operational/startup spares and Operating and Maintenance Practices.
- Participated in Customer Factory Acceptance Tests and related Control Systems reviews.
- Perform on-site programming for Water Treatment Control Systems and assists on electrical installation and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Automation and E&I Leaders regarding project execution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements
- College Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Water Treatment field or 10 years of experience in Construction and/or Commissioning
- Strong focus on customer relationships (both external and internal customers). Understands balance between customer and
- Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and process startup related to WTS products and systems including but not limited to Reverse Osmosis, Clarifiers, Thickeners, Pressure Filters,
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
- Possess basic water treatment chemistry knowledge and communicate that information to others.
- Electrical experience and know-how (hands on, reading and interpreting drawings, etc), particularly with electrical panels, junction box, cabling and grounding practices, etc..
- Familiarity with setup, installation, configuration, calibration and/or maintenance of instrumentation used in water treatment

Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College.
- Oil and Gas experience
- Electrical experience and know-how (hands on, reading and interpreting drawings, etc.), particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment.
- Ability to plan multiple priorities and focus on the most important ones.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new problems, clients, and situations.
- Training in Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures preferred.
