Employee Benefits Assistant - Remote - California

We are looking for an Employee Benefits Assistant to join a top insurance agency in California! This company has been providing top-notch insurance services since 1984! This company is looking for someone who has Employee Benefits experience, an active Life & Health license (or is willing to obtain one once employed), and looking for growth!

The Position:
- Assist Account Managers
- Reviews and checks policies, endorsements, audits, certificate
- Prepare presentations, proposals, summaries, and schedules of coverage for clients
- Assists with preparations and proposals for clients
- Review and input applications and create letters and other forms of correspondence
- Review contracts and client accounting history and inquiries
What we need from you:
- Experience - You have 1-2+ years of employee benefits, claims processing, and insurance brokerage experience
- Knowledge - You are very knowledgeable of insurance products, markets, ratings, and underwriting procedures
- Licensed - You currently have your Life & Health License or are willing to obtain one once employed
- Software - You are familiar with Applied EPIC, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and other database management systems
