CDW is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with switch and routing technologies, wireless networking (specifically Cisco and Meraki), and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI). You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and manage switch and routing solutions to support organizational needs.
- Implement and maintain wireless networking solutions using Cisco and Meraki technologies.
- Manage and optimize Cisco ACI environments for enhanced application performance and security.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop network architecture and deployment strategies.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
- Assist with network security initiatives to protect sensitive data and infrastructure.
Required experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with switch and routing technologies, specifically Nexus (NXOS)
- Strong knowledge of wireless networking (Cisco and Meraki).
- Experience managing Cisco ACI and its deployment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Meraki) are a plus.
- Experience with Arista switching
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
