Job Description
The Project Manager has a successful track record of estimating and managing mechanical systems projects in the commercial, industrial, and/or mechanical sectors. We are seeking an industry leader with effective and efficient communication skills in Indianapolis & the surrounding areas. As the Project Manager, you will provide leadership to our team members in the office and field and serve as an extension of our brand to our clients and to the industry. The ideal candidate should be able to identify roadblocks on projects prior to starting the job and will adapt to a fast-changing environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and external stakeholders, and superior organizational skills. Depending on your experience, our pay range is between $60K-80K.
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities
- Oversee projects, handle bidding, estimating, scheduling, and job site supervision
- Attend, record, and document project meetings and assist with the organization of fieldwork
- Make decisions and recommendations that can greatly impact a relationship with the client and the profitability of the project
- Communicate clear and concise information about the project, including scope, specifications, schedule, and safety; and will maintain that same communication throughout the project
- Define the scope, timeline, and goals for each project assigned and estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their work
- Analyze job cost and identify potential issues/concerns
- Review estimates completed by other team members and provide oversight on projects as needed
- Assist in job closeout process and issue project performance reports
- Participate in project review & billing meetings
