DTH Remodeling needs a new Remodeling Construction Manager. We're looking for a "by the book" person who has a real need for accuracy - someone who will successfully ensure everything is being done correctly.
In addition to the base salary, this position also comes with a handsome Bonus Program for increased earning potential. DTH Remodeling also offers a monthly truck allowance payment & a company issued gas card.

Our new Construction Manager will manage the construction of assigned projects in an efficient manner, ensuring timely delivery of a quality product to the client. The relationship with the Vendor and Contractor team will be one that is loyal, efficient and profitable to all parties. The project delivery will result in a transaction that meets projected profit margins, with a satisfied customer who will serve as a long-term referral for future sales and a repeat client.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure each project constructed passes the DTH Quality Inspection program requirements.
- Develop, preserve and promote exemplary customer service skills with all clients through ongoing communication of the building progress
- Construct each project at or below budget.
- Construct each project on schedule as defined by the DTH manual.
- Enhance Vendor and Contractor relationships at every opportunity.
- Process payments to Vendors and Contractors daily and accurately.
- Document and validate all budget variances.
- Attend scheduled Pre Con & Final Meetings
- Attend, and actively contribute to, all Construction team meetings.
- Develop and maintain DTH Best Practices through participating in ongoing individual and team development, keeping informed of industry standards, and recommending new processes.
- Responsible for field change orders.
- Stay up to date with code changes and ensure projects are in compliance
- Work with third party engineering company on projects requiring engineering
- Develop and maintain vendor base that meets DTH Remodeling standards.
- Maintain weekly photo updates of projects.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- 5 years construction experience.
- Computer skills are required. Construction Managers are expected to use the DTH-provided technology to efficiently process payments to Vendors and Contractors and communicate with other members of the organization on a daily basis.
- At a minimum and with the exception of DTH-approved holidays, events, or meetings Construction Managers are expected to be at their assigned job sites during normal working hours of 8:30 – 5:30, Mondays through Friday.
- Keep record and transfer all customer communications in the DTH CM portal
- Contact all clients a minimum of 3 times per week and log into DTH CM portal. Ensure all communication put in writing reflects a positive attitude toward the buyer.
- Quality inspection ratings that meet or exceed the company requirements.
- It is expected that all Construction Managers will be on each of their job sites no less than one time every two days.
- Must have a professional, well-kept truck that will provide reliable access to various remote construction sites.
- Must have and maintain a current and valid Texas driver’s license, a clean driving record and must remain insurable under the company’s liability insurance policy.
