Network Engineer
Remote (Seeking New York state residents)

CDW has an excellent opportunity available for a Network Engineer. In this role, you will design, implement and sport high-performance network solutions.
Experience Required:
- Over 4 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting network systems in an enterprise-class environment with a complex architecture.
- Proficient in network design for complex environments, including legacy and SDA.
- Familiar with IPSec frameworks and encryption techniques.
- Skilled in working with IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, DMVPN, VxLAN routing protocols, as well as iSCSI and fibre channel storage network protocols.
- Experienced with ESX networking, including distributed switching.
- Adept at integrating legacy hardware into modern platforms.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining wireless (WiFi) networks.
- Proficient in configuring policies on an ISE server for role-based network access control.
- Experienced with Cisco routing and Aruba (AOS-CX) switching.
- Skilled in working with Cisco Next Gen Firewalls.
- Cisco certifications are highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate network strategies and technology selection with business and IT stakeholders.
- Develop and communicate long-term vision and strategic plans for network infrastructure.
- Serve as a technical expert for enterprise-wide network infrastructure.
- Lead vendor evaluation and selection of network technology solutions.
- Design and implement new network solutions and improve current networks.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and support of networking equipment.
- Develop and implement network architectures, ensuring scalability and security.
- Conduct research on network products and stay updated on industry developments.
- Oversee equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
- Create and maintain network design documentation.
- Evaluate system/network performance and provide ongoing information to stakeholders.
- Manage and monitor enterprise networks, including LAN/WAN/SAN/OT/IoT/Hybrid Cloud.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership.
