Position Overview:
Element6's client is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain to lead their supply chain operations. This pivotal role will focus on developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with their company goals, ensuring efficiency and excellence across all supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the company.
- Operations Management: Oversee all supply chain functions, including procurement, production, logistics, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring seamless operations.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness, negotiating favorable terms as needed.
- Inventory Control: Optimize inventory levels to balance cost-efficiency with customer demand, implementing best practices for inventory management.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring stability and continuity.
- Compliance: Ensure that all supply chain processes and operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in supply chain management, demonstrating a track record of success in similar roles.
