Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented year-round Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns.
- Conduct thorough tax research to support tax positions.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and implications for clients.
- Collaborate with other accounting staff to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or EA designation required.
- 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
