About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and work within a school-based setting in California. This is a contract role offering a supportive work environment with the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and individualized educational programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to analyze and address behavioral challenges.
- Provide direct behavioral support and guidance to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and provide regular updates to the school team.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral techniques and data collection.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.
- Must have or be eligible for California licensure.
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Dedication to fostering positive, supportive educational experiences for students.
