Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Angular/Java Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team at McKesson. This role will be instrumental in developing robust, high-performance applications that support critical healthcare operations. As part of a dynamic team, you will work on the entire development lifecycle, from system design to deployment, focusing on both front-end and back-end components. This role offers flexibility, with the option to work remotely or from our offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Angular for front-end development and Java for back-end services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to connect front-end and back-end systems seamlessly.
- Ensure code quality and best practices, including automated testing, security, and performance optimization.
- Maintain, improve, and upgrade existing systems to align with McKesson's high standards of service delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continual improvement.
Qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience in full-stack development with Angular and Java.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development practices.
- Understanding of security best practices, especially in handling sensitive healthcare data.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on quality and user-centered development.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Jasmine, or Protractor.
