Ascendo Resources is actively seeking an HR Generalist with strong employee relations experience for an immediate, fulltime, onsite, temp-to-perm position!
Our client, a national automotive parts distributor is located in West Valley, UT 84120. This role requires frequent travel/on-site visits to 7 Utah locations, with mileage reimbursement provided for travel between locations.
The HR Generalist's primary focus will be on employee relations. Candidates should have 3+ years of direct experience in employee relations within blue-collar work environments.
Pay Rate: $30 - $34/hour
Salary: $62,000 - $70,000/year (Non-Exempt Role) (Overtime Available)
Schedule: Mon-Fri (9am - 5pm) (40 hour work week)
Travel: Requires frequent site visit for 7 locations within 10-35 mile radius
Responsibilities:
- Handle employee relations, including investigations and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with departments for benefits, leave management, and payroll.
- Support onboarding and HR operations across multiple locations.
- Work closely with warehouse and retail employees to implement policies.
- Participate in regional HR projects and initiatives.
- Manage travel to different locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
- 3+ years of Employee Relations Experience in blue collar work setting
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive employee relations.
- Ability to work in warehouse/retail settings.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in navigating HR platforms.
- Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
