Job Title: Senior Human Resource Generalist

Position Summary:
The Senior Human Resource Generalist will lead HR operations, oversee payroll and HRIS systems, and manage recruitment and benefits administration, ensuring adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Human Resource department and provide backup for the Human Resource Generalist as needed.
- Manage changes and modifications to payroll and HRIS systems.
- Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt employees.
- Manage the annual open enrollment process for employee benefits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, maintaining the employee handbook and policies manual.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and programs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations concerning payroll and benefits, including COBRA, FLSA, and FMLA.
- Assist with regulatory and benefit filings, such as annual EEOC reporting and benefit plan 5500 forms.
- Process FMLA, workers' compensation, and disability claims.
- Respond to notices related to unemployment insurance claims.
- Address regulatory and tax notices as needed.
- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Consult with legal counsel to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
- Prepare ad-hoc payroll reports for management.
- Advise management on employee relations issues and resolutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; HR Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with Paycom software is desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
