Expected Pay Range: $22-24/hour, $300/day.Summary and ScopeThe CDL Driver will perform a variety of tasks related to day-to-day product transportation, delivery, and control. Primary duties include driving trucks short and long distances to deliver a variety of products to and from job sites in compliance with all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
This position may also perform various warehouse duties including prioritizing and picking material to fill orders, loading, and unloading products on delivery trucks and maintaining, handling, and moving the physical inventory as needed. This job requires heavy travel and Deployed Resources will pay for or reimburse necessary travel expenses.
Essential Functions- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles.
- Repair company equipment as needed to maintain serviceable condition.
- Become familiar with basic technology.
- Basic understanding of and ability to comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload delivery trucks - requiring physical moving and lifting of product weighing as much as 150 pounds.
- Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned.
- Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing product for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type.
- Inform management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assisting in actual periodic inventory counts.
- Maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving.
- Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law and Company policies.
- Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in safe manner and maintain an operator license, if required.
- Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of products to vendor, etc. and segregate defective product from normal flow of inventory.
- Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
- Repair company equipment as needed to maintain serviceable condition.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Specifications- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
- Ability to start, control and maintain a complete process or procedure, while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront
- Possess working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems
- Ability to apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading areas.
- Possess strong attention to detail and be able to establish and maintain professional and cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts

Required Education and Experience- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 3 years of route delivery driving experience is required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class A or B license with tank endorsement.
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Must maintain clean driving record free of violations, convictions, and accidents. (all past, present, and future driving information provided by applicants shall be verified).
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, hear, stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, climb, engage in repetitive motions, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls. May routinely and repetitively lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted (or heavier with the use of proper equipment and procedures).
Expected Hours of WorkThe ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs. It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in facility and field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, hand tools, site equipment and vehicles, and is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.
TravelThis position requires up to 100% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours' notice.
Work Authorization- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, occupational health physical and lift test (if applicable), credit check (if applicable), and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
