Job Title: Post-Trade Software Developer - Equity Solutions

Overview: The Global Markets Post Trade IT team at Natixis Americas is dedicated to supporting our four core business lines: Macro/Commodities, GSF, Equity Solutions, and Credit. We are seeking a talented and hands-on developer to join our dynamic team, which consists of software developers and IT business analysts. This role focuses specifically on post-trade equity solutions, working in a fast-paced environment alongside our end-users. Our initiatives include local projects as well as global collaborations with our Head Office in Europe and our Asian platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Design and develop in-house applications and software solutions specifically for post-trade equity operations.
- Utilize .NET and C# technologies to build and enhance equity-related applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Angular (versions 9+) with a minimum of 3 years of experience to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
Technical Ownership:
- Take ownership of both in-house and vendor-provided software solutions related to post-trade equity processes.
- Ensure high-quality deliveries by adhering to best practices in software development and testing.
- Improve and maintain technical documentation for development processes and solutions.
- Prepare, deliver, and track platform releases, ensuring seamless interaction with other teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a software engineer with a strong focus on equity solutions and post-trade processes.
- In-depth knowledge of post-trade booking practices specifically for equity instruments.
- Familiarity with financial products such as equity options, repos, and stock borrow/lending.
- Experience with trading systems such as Smart Loan, Loanet, Sophis, and Broker Dealer systems (e.g., Phase 3/Shadow Suite).
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting tight deadlines.

The salary range for this position will be between $170,000 - $210,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
