Allied Resources is looking for a SCADA Engineer for an exciting opportunity with one of the nation’s top energy companies headquartered in the Allentown, PA area. This long-term contract position provides an excellent compensation up to $166k base, comprehensive benefits package and hybrid flexibility. Remote candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of power distribution systems.
- Create and review engineering drawings and documentation.
- Maintain and enhance the performance of substations.
- Collaborate cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA components into existing and new infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NERC CIP, IEEE, etc.) related to SCADA systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree - Electrical Engineering (required).
- 5 + years of experience (required).
- Experience with field devices, RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), and the central SCADA control center (required).
