Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager with a deep understanding of embedded development in the automotive domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic control units (ECUs), adaptive cruise control, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Telematics Systems, Climate Control Systems and vehicle control systems. This role involves setting up and leading a team to deliver complex programs, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving innovation in automotive technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Building: Establish and lead a high-performing team of engineers and developers focused on embedded systems in the automotive sector. Foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of embedded development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with industry standards. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and mentorship in areas such as ECUs, adaptive cruise control, and vehicle control systems. Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers. Ensure clear communication of project goals, progress, and outcomes.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the embedded development team, aligning with broader organizational goals and future automotive technology trends.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all development processes adhere to automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements. Implement robust testing and validation procedures to maintain product quality and reliability.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities and technologies to enhance vehicle control systems and other embedded solutions. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in embedded systems development within the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects and leading high-performing technical teams.
- Knowledge of ECUs, adaptive cruise control, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Telematics Systems, Climate Control Systems
- Strong understanding of automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
