The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation. Personal Injury Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage a large volume of personal injury and mass tort cases
- Draft and file motions, pleadings and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals
- Monitor statute of limitations and upcoming critical deadlines for each case
- Work on discovery and document review
- Attend hearings and depositions
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
Personal Injury Attorney Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing
- 5 + years of experience practicing law
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and advocacy skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with mass torts is preferred but not required
- Experience litigating 18-wheeler collisions preferred but not required
