Program Overview:
Equiturn, a middle-market Investment Bank, is offering an Investment Banking Spring Internship Program for undergraduate students ready to immerse themselves in the intensity of Investment Banking. This program is designed to challenge and refine your skills through unparalleled exposure to live high-profile transactions especially in M&A and Capital Markets. Only a subset of our most exceptional interns will be offered a paid Junior Analyst position to continue beyond the Spring semester.

High-level of Live Deal Engagement: Work directly with seasoned investment bankers on live transactions across industries, from initial pitch to deal closure. Tasks and Responsibilities:
M&A:
- Perform valuation analysis on acquisition targets using various financial models to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the company’s financial value and health.
- Conduct meticulous acquisition target search and analysis to present hyper-fit acquisition targets
- Evaluate the operational performance of potential acquisition targets and identify potential post-acquisition synergies.
- Participate in due diligence by preparing question lists, organizing materials, and conducting financial, operational, and legal diligence analyses.
Capital Markets:
- Aid clients in securing capital for business development, acquisitions, and other financial needs.
- Conduct research and internal database examination to identify fitting capital providers to approach for a capital sourcing project.
- Prepare targeted outreach materials, including emails, teasers, information memorandums, and data rooms, to effectively market the transaction to potential financiers.
- Draft responses to financier questions, participate in pitches, and support the closure.
Business Development:
- Using web tools, search engines, and other methods, identify companies and industries with high potential for M&A activity and capital needs.
- Conduct outreach directly to the executives of companies that have been identified as having potential demand for Equiturn’s M&A and/or Capital service offerings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint or Canva
- Demonstrated passion in finance and investment banking
- Previous finance or IB-related experience is preferred
