Our client, a global contemporary fashion brand is seeking a jewelry designer to join the team on a contract basis!
Responsibilities:
- Uphold design integrity, quality execution and creativity throughout the entire creative process
- Create CAD and hand sketches for jewelry (flats, 3D, etc.)
- Create line sheets / presentations for design meetings
- Manage technical specs and design approval of production pieces.
- Be an expert on raw materials to re-imagine construction and design for collections
- Work closely with internal partners and cross functional partners to ensure successful commercialization of product and cohesive cross strategy story telling
- Responsible for outlet jewelry collection
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience working with jewelry design, corporate
- Ability to hand-sketch as well as render sketches digitally is essential
- Strong computer skills in illustrator and photoshop+, 3D CAD skill is plus
- Organized and detailed oriented, ability to multi-task
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build strong interpersonal relationships
