ADG Creative is currently seeking an Art Director in their Columbia, MD location.
This position requires a Top Secret/ SCI / Full Scope Polygraph.
Essential Duties:
Plays an active role in brainstorming and idea generation of innovative design solutions for new and existing UX/UI initiatives, social media, print, brand, and digital campaigns and deliverables.
Drives design research, concepting, exploration, execution, and, at times, the production of concepts.
Seeks strategic creative solutions to understand the client, the end user/customer needs, and address gaps to create impactful and meaningful experiences.
Articulates, presents, and defends creative work and pitches ideas confidently to cross-functional teams and clients.
Independently manages multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; excellent time management skills with the ability to predict/deconflict scheduling issues.
Operates with limited direction, at times, and understands how and when to communicate up.
Creates solutions by proactively seeking answers.
Builds and organizes files correctly using appropriate file type, size, structure, fonts, links, image resolution, and naming conventions, and adheres to backup and storage procedures.
Continuously improves, innovates, and grows; keeps up with design trends, design programs, and technology.
Mentors designers to help set them up for success.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience as an Art Director
10 plus years of experience Strong understanding of Adobe creative software on the Mac platform, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe XD (or Sketch), and Acrobat, and MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Must have a T/SCI – Full Scope poly for a Maryland Customer
