We are looking for a Landscape Architecture PM to join an award-winning firm in the northern VA area. This position will be leading/managing various landscape architecture projects in the VA/DC/MD region. Duties:
- Assist in proposal writing, client management including presentations, and project management from concept development through construction administration.
- Lead a wide range of projects such as high quality urban spaces, streetscapes, multi-family residential, and parks and recreation facilities.
- Oversee/mentor junior staff
- Responsibilities associated with project management, including team coordination and communication, contract negotiation, client billing, staffing coordination, project schedule, budget, etc.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Landscape Architecture or ability to be licensed within a few months
- 6+ years of experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/ Land FX, MS Office, and Adobe Photoshop/ InDesign
- Familiarity with sustainable site design practices.
- Plant identification skills and design understanding of woody and herbaceous plants of the Mid-Atlantic Region.
- Working knowledge of 3D programs such as Sketch Up and Lumion is a plus.
- Experience leading projects and staff
