Medical Malpractice Attorney – Hybrid Schedule
Top regional law firm has an immediate opening for an attorney for their dynamic Medical Malpractice team in their Bedminster, NJ office. This role will represent healthcare providers and insurance companies in complex medical malpractice defense cases. The ideal candidate will have one (1) to three (3) years’ experience in defense litigation with a strong interest in representing healthcare professionals and institutions. The firm offers a hybrid schedule, mentorship, as well as an excellent benefits and compensation package. This is a bonus eligible position.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to handle cases from inception through trial including case analysis, discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation and court appearances.
- Analyze medical records, identify key legal issues and work closely with expert witnesses to develop case strategy.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions and other case documents.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in New Jersey, admission in PA or NY a big plus
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills.
