About the Role:
Addison Group is thrilled to partner with a growing client in the tax industry, seeking additional seasonal support for the upcoming tax season. This client is experiencing significant growth and needs a skilled professional to assist during their busiest period. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing tax returns for both individuals and small businesses, providing accurate and timely service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize tax returns for individuals and small businesses, ensuring accuracy.
- Review financial data and documents to determine correct tax obligations.
- Use tax software to compute tax payments or refunds accurately.
- Stay informed about the latest changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Deliver excellent service by addressing client inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Collaborate closely with clients to gather necessary financial information.
- Safeguard client information and uphold strict confidentiality.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to help minimize their liabilities.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a tax preparer or in a related role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle financial data with precision.
- Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision.
