Job Title: Financial Analyst Consultant
Overview: A Financial Analyst Consultant is a professional who provides expert advice and analysis on financial matters to businesses, individuals, or organizations. They use their knowledge and skills to assess financial data, identify trends, and recommend strategies to improve financial performance.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis of businesses, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assists with the monthly close process including variance analysis, and the creation and distribution of monthly reporting packages.
- Develop financial models to forecast future performance and assess the impact of different scenarios.
- Identify and evaluate financial risks, such as market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
- Provides metrics and KPI's that improve the key drivers of operations and enable effective management, decision-making, and execution.
- Develop financial plans for business.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for the CFO.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA in finance is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of finance experience with progressive growth, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication.
- Experience in financial analysis and business modeling.
- Strong data analytical skills, high attention to details, with a focus on accuracy.
