Overall Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Work Methods Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining work methods and procedures to improve safety, operational efficiency, and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of utility operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Location: Hybrid (see below), downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Woods Run Complex
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document standardized work methods and procedures for various utility operations.
- Analyze current work processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with field operations teams to ensure the effective implementation of work methods.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on new work methods and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with established work methods and procedures, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of work methods and identify opportunities for further optimization.
- Prepare reports and presentations on work methods and improvement initiatives for management.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related preferred
- Seven (7+) or more years related work experience required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in utility operations or a related field strongly preferred.

Hybrid Work
Position follows our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.
Storm Roles
