Position Overview:
InfraRec. are looking for a skilled Transmission Line Design Engineer to join our client's engineering team. This role will be joining a brand new team of T-Line Engineers working on a project internationally and the chance to visit!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-voltage transmission lines (69kV to 500kV) using industry-standard software (e.g., PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE).
- Conduct engineering analysis, including structural calculations, to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Develop detailed drawings, plans, and technical documentation for transmission line projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., project managers, civil and electrical engineers, environmental specialists) to support project development and execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in transmission line design and engineering.
- Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and other design software.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, NESC, IEEE).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification.
