Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a technically-minded Project Manager for a full-time contract in the local government of Durham, NC. Previous experience in state or local government experience would be a plus.
As a Project Manager, you will utilize your leadership and creative problem-solving to shepherd requisitions through the procurement and implementation processes.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours/week) position with a target compensation of $40-45/hour. The contract length is open-ended, with the possibility of converting to permanent employment. This is a hybrid position, requiring in-office attendance in Durham an average of 1-2 days per week.

Desired Qualifications:
- Related bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
- PMP certification.
- Two years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
- Experience gathering requirements from business units and creating business case documentation.
- Experience within a state or local government.
