One of Robert Half's Fortune 500 Automotive clients is hiring a Service Desk Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for all IT needs on the shop floor in Lincoln, AL. This role will entail hardware and software updates & refreshes, assisting end users with various onsite needs, and supporting IT peripherals.
The role will be 100% onsite and 2nd shift, from 4pm - 12:30am, Monday - Friday.
Job Description:
- Respond to radio calls
- Replace hardware
- Install Software
- Create Incident tickets
- Manage IT Projects
- Replace Printers
- Deploy new equipment
- Crisis escalation
Required Experience:
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11
- Basic understanding of Linux commands
- Working Knowledge of Zebra and Lexmark printers
- Organized
- Fast Learner
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
