Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a knack for organization and a passion for numbers? We're looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to handle a range of accounting responsibilities, from managing Accounts Receivable and Payable to participating in month-end close and finance projects. You'll take charge of invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements, while keeping our financial records in top shape. If you have at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience, familiarity with QuickBooks, and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you! Occasional travel for team offsites adds variety to this remote-first role.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform all Accounts Receivable functions; drafting invoices and credit memos from within the CRM, process receipts, perform regular collection procedures and reconcile client accounts as necessary.
- Perform All Accounts Payable functions; receive, validate and process invoices, ensure accurate posting of amounts due and timely payments, reconcile vendor accounts as necessary, maintain and reconcile corporate credit accounts.
- Participate in Month End closing procedures
- Calculate and track referral partner commissions
- Process employee expense reimbursement requests leveraging company policies
- Keep electronic finance files logically ordered and complete.
- Participate in accounting and finance projects and initiatives, such as annual audits, as they arise.
Position Requirements
- This is a remote position, but priority will be given to candidates based within the metro area in which the position is posted
- Ability to travel to company offsites about once per quarter
- Minimum 2 years of Bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of QuickBooks experience desired.
- Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and outstanding presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage several projects at once.
- Natural leadership, motivational and organizational skills.
- Excellent skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Zoho CRM a plus

- This is a full-time, permanent, non-exempt position with an estimated compensation range of $25-30/hour ($52,000-$62,500 yearly)
