Mission:
The aim of this position is to fulfilment of the objectives of production in terms of productivity, quality, time and costs. Manages, coordinates, directs and controls activities of the staff of the Team Lead and Line Leads. Set the daily workload, and leads various efforts to achieve them, balanced lines, monitors the efficiency of the work carried out and controls the volume and the quality of the production.
Essential Functions of Role:
'• Responsible for ensuring the Production Operators meet the minimum requirements for their position.
• Communicate Production and Quality Requirements to the production team members.
• Offer suggestions and improvements to the process and quality.
• Responsible for filling required production reports correctly and completely.
• Place team members in position that they are most productive and efficient for the company.
• Ensure that all Production Operators and Team Leaders are adhering to the Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Report any unsafe work conditions and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Enforce the housekeeping rules.
• Complete Incident Investigation Reports as required.
• Enforce the Quality Policy.
• Responsible for helping train all Production Operators and Team Leaders and should also help motivate, coach, evaluate and counsel them.
• Enforce all of the Company’s Policies and Procedures. Issue Discipline Action when appropriate.
• Complete Daily Manning Sheets.
• Ensure Production Schedules are being ran.
• Receive all Production SAP/R3 paperwork and verify completion.
Additional Responsibilities
• Lead by example providing coaching and mentoring.
• Abides by all environmental, health and safety rules and regulations promoting safety in the workplace.
• Provide First Aid if necessary.
• Ensure all employees exit the building and are accounted for in case of Fire or Hazardous Chemical Spill.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Skill and ability to train and teach others.
- Safety Knowledge, Orientation and Training Skills, Fire Extinguisher Safety, Lock Out Tag Out, Emergency Evacuation Knowledge, Spill Response, CPR/First Aid.
- Proficient Computer skills, familiar with HR duties (headcounts, vacation, coverage, etc), excellent Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving Skills, excellent knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 14001:2015.
