ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SPECIALIST (Chemical)
The Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) is seeking qualified candidates with a BS degree in Civil, Chemical, Agricultural/Biosystems, or Mechanical engineering. This is professional work in environmental engineering which includes basic and more routine engineering evaluations. Positions are available in the Water, Land and Air Divisions of the department. Certain positions may require some overnight travel. Beginning salary is $61,063.20 annually. If you have an FE Licensure, a qualifying master's degree and/or at least one year environmental engineering experience, the starting salary could increase. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills
