NP/PA Urgent Care opening in Bangor, ME Seeking a mission-driven Care Team Provider to join our dynamic organization. In this role, you will work closely with our primary care providers, primary care RNs and other disciplines to support our primary care patients, ensuring they receive same-day care and have seamless transitions during provider changes. This position will not have a panel of patients. Same day care is defined as care that is urgent and/or problem focused which cannot wait until the patient can see their primary care provider. Collaborate with primary care providers and nursing staff to support patients. Ensure access to same-day care for patients, addressing their immediate needs. Assist in the management of patients during transitions, such as when a physician leaves the organization or during provider absences. Provide urgent/same day care for unpaneled patients until they are assigned a permanent provider. Support desktop management for primary care providers to facilitate efficient care delivery. Uphold a patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing quality and access. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited MD or DO, Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant program. Current license to practice medicine as MD/DO, a Nurse Practitioner and/or Certified Physician Assistant in the State of Maine. Current DEA license. Will have up-to-date training and certification in Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire. Minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.
