Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT)
StartDate: ASAP
Pay Rate: $2300.00 - $2650.00
MT/ MLT needed ASAP
Independently performs qualitative and quantitative tests in assigned section(s), following established guidelines and predetermined criteria. Performs tests and calculations, documents and reports results
Must be willing to work on-call.
Must be able to commute to hospital within 10 minutes.
Must be willing and able to perform phlebotomy.
Medical Technologist - Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science and successful completion of an approved Medical Technology internship program, OR
Medical Laboratory Technician - High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited college or university and completion of a clinical laboratory internship preferred.
Certified as an MT/MLS or MLT by one of the National Commission of Health Certifying Agencies or by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health Laboratories Branch.
State license as a Technologist or Technician.
Required Qualifications
o Must be willing to work on-call.
o Must be willing and able to perform phlebotomy.
o Must be able to report to hospital within an hour for call-backs
Education:
