👷‍♂️Job Title: Site Superintendent - Local to Jobsite

My client, a leading general contractor, is seeking a local Site Superintendent to oversee daily operations on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects, working under the guidance of a Senior Superintendent. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying and managing risk to ensure worker safety and keep the project on schedule. Experience as an MEP Superintendent is a bonus.
🔑Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Oversight: Supervise daily site operations, ensuring all activities align with project goals.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the project site.
- Project Communication: Report project milestones and updates to project managers, the Senior Superintendent, and clients, facilitating clear communication across teams.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring efficient organization and smooth operations.
🎓Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10 years in construction supervision with strong project management and communication skills.
- Site work: Experience with underground utilities and civil site work for ground up including pre-fab/tilt-up and understanding of concrete processes and inspections is a must.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction documents; proficient with email communication, ProCore, and other computer applications.
- Standards and Regulations: Knowledgeable in regulatory construction standards, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing work outside of original scope.
