Vice President - Electrical Power Construction
The Vice President - Electrical Power Construction is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the company’s electrical power construction operations. This role entails overseeing the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of electrical power projects, while also driving business growth, operational performance, and team development. The Vice President will develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and financial performance of the electrical power construction division.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in high voltage construction, electrical transmission & distribution, and T&D construction, along with a proven track record of leadership, business development, and financial acumen.
Key Functional Responsibilities:
- Business Development and Client Engagement: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, grow existing client relationships, and lead contract negotiations and project estimating. This role is responsible for securing new projects and expanding the company's footprint in the electrical power construction market.
- Project Execution and Operational Oversight: Ensure the successful execution of all electrical power projects, meeting quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Provide leadership and direction to project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Project Controls and Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and cost management for projects. Responsible for measuring project performance, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining a strong balance sheet for the electrical power construction business.
- Team Building and Leadership: Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of a high-performing team. Foster a collaborative, innovative work environment that drives continuous improvement and supports team growth and success.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in the electrical power construction industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Expertise in high voltage construction, electrical transmission & distribution, and T&D construction.
- Proven success in business development and strategy implementation.
- Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment in electrical power construction.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
