Job Description:
The group is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Attorney to join their leading team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing legal counsel on a wide range of employee benefits and compensation matters, with a focus on advising both employers and high-level executives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance on employee benefit plans, including retirement, health, and welfare plans.
- Advise clients on executive compensation packages, equity incentives, and deferred compensation arrangements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance packages, and executive contracts.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and compliance requirements in the field of employee benefits and executive compensation.
- Represent clients in disputes, litigation, or regulatory matters related to employee benefits and compensation.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in MO.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation law.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, tax regulations, and other relevant laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
