We are a commercial concrete construction company, specializes in turnkey commercial tilt-up construction, including tilt walls, slabs, decks, foundations, and more. Licensed in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee, with almost five million square feet of concrete on the ground. Our projects range from smaller additions to new ground-up structures in various sectors of commercial, retail, and industrial markets throughout the southeastern United States and we are growing.

We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the initial planning phases of our construction projects, oversee feasibility, budgeting, risk management, and compliance to lay a strong foundation for success.
The Work
- Coordinate and manage the overall efforts and workload of the Estimating Department; bring structure, streamline efforts, and allocate department resources to create efficiencies, meet bid deadlines, and improve bid win rate
- Serve as the bridge between the estimators and the clients
- Review and refine estimates to catch and correct errors
- Maintain continuous communication with clients during the bidding process to gain insights, make adjustments, and understand the drivers of losses
- Act as a resource for the estimators by sharing insights about market trends, escalations in materials and adjusting their approach to estimating
- Generate estimates when the workload of the department warrants
- Tap into your extensive industry network of vendors, suppliers, GC’s, and business development contacts to help drive revenue growth
- Develop and grow the estimating team, perhaps by bringing your own people with you

Requirements & Skills
- At least 7-10 years experience in the construction industry with a focus on commercial concrete projects
- 5 years in a preconstruction management role preferred with a strong track record of building teams and contributing to the overall growth of an organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field helpful but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bluebeam. Familiarity with Revit and Monday.com beneficial
