We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team in Cleveland. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience handling civil litigation matters and a passion for advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
- Provide legal counsel on a wide range of civil disputes, including commercial litigation, personal injury, and contract disputes.
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal briefs, and argue cases in court.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution when appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on complex cases while managing a personal caseload.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Ohio State Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation.
- Strong knowledge of Ohio civil procedure and rules of evidence.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to handle multiple cases independently and meet deadlines.
