Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a BIM & CAD Drafter/ Civil Designer to join our team for a construction project.
Project: bridge/structure/road
Estimated duration of the position: 4years - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Organising the preparation of construction drawings with the CAD technicians, engaging with the Construction team.
- Drafts and optimizes general plan drawings.
- Participates in specialty design work as needed.
- Manage and organize CAD files.
- Engagement with Technical Office for RFI.
- Meeting with engineers, draftsmen, and designers to review blueprints and design drawings.
- Inputting design specifications into the CAD software.
- Creating surface and solid CAD models according to client specifications.
- Working with a design team and individually on CAD projects.
- Reviewing CAD models with the client and making adjustments and completes standard calculations.
- Knowledge to produce 2D technical drawings and 3D models for different disciplines.
- Conducts field visits to locate grading markers and collect data.
- Conducing final model rendering and delivering the final product.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a CAD drafter/ Civil Designer in heavy civil construction projects (highways, bridges, structures) or similar.
- Proficiency in Bentley products (Microstation/OpenRoads).
- Experience in BIM (Revit) methodology
