Graveyard Dispatcher
Schedule: Work for 3 days during the week, and either Sunday and Monday or Friday and Saturday. Must be flexible. Pay: $18+
Dispatching experience: 1 year.
Hours: 12am-8:30am (Graveyard shift)
Once training is completed, the schedule becomes fixed.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule freight deliveries for drivers.
- Communicate with customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
- Plan predetermined routes and accommodate route changes as needed.
- Prepare dispatch documents, and generate freight bills, and invoices.
- Maintain records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, delivery, and pickup times.
- Track transportation regulations and laws to ensure driver compliance.
- Review drivers' logs, dispatched calls, and arrival times.
- Monitor truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
- Log customer shipping schedules and complaints.
Experience:
- Must have customer service experience.
- Transportation experience is preferred.
Salary:
- Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour.
