Job Title: Large Format Mounting / Lamination Technician
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Fully Onsite)
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year ($30/hr)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Large Format Mounting / Lamination Technician with a strong background in mounting digital prints to various substrates, including gator board, foamboard, plexi, and MDF. This position requires at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, and the ideal candidate will be adept with cold lamination processes, specifically with AGL 64 laminators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mount digital prints to a range of substrates with high precision.
- Perform cold lamination using AGL 64 laminators to meet quality standards.
- Handle large mural paneling, ensuring proper trimming and bleed alignment for seamless installations.
- Operate panel and table saws for material cutting; familiarity with standard woodworking tools is preferred.
- Utilize Zund cutters (or similar) for precision cutting, with experience in Zund systems highly desired.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in large format mounting and lamination.
- Proficiency with AGL 64 laminators and cold lamination techniques.
- Knowledge of mounting and cutting techniques for large-scale projects.
- Experience with panel and table saws; knowledge of Zund cutters or similar systems a plus.
